CONCORD, Ontario, Aug. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- On The Go Technologies Group (OTC Bulletin Board: ONGO; 'OTG' 'the Company'), a leading multi- industry computer hardware, software and systems integrator, announced today that the Company has secured, by way of its US based partner OTG Healthcare LLC, an IT vendor affiliation with US Federal Government contract supplier Solutions for Enterprise Wide Procurement ('SEWP'). The Company is providing a Vidar Scanner package, a high-end medical film digitizing station, to Government purchasers - potential purchasers include the Department of Defense and the Veteran Administration -, via its strategic relationship with SEWP preferred vendor and prime contractor Technica Corporation.
Virginia based Technica specializes in large-scale information technology product solution deployments for the Government on a worldwide basis. Classified as a Veteran Owned Small Business, they are further afforded privileged selling capacities to companies buying through the SEWP network.
Started in 1990 to fulfill IT procurement needs of the NASA science and engineering community, the Solutions for Enterprise Wide Procurement (SEWP) IV contract vehicle has an outstanding track record of providing new and innovative technology for Federal agencies. SEWP is a Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) consisting of thirty-eight Competed Prime Contract Holders, including twenty-one small businesses of which nine are Veteran-Owned Businesses.
