Proximex, a developer of award-winning solutions for the physical security information market (PSIM), announced today that Alex Osinski has joined the company as vice president of global channel sales. Mr. Osinski is responsible for developing and implementing the global channel partner strategy, prioritizing vertical markets and managing selected accounts for Proximex. In this role, Mr. Osinski will deliver significant value to enterprise customers by managing strategic alliance direction with global partners and delivering the first comprehensive PSIM system to global commercial accounts and government agencies.
“Security issues are a global problem that PSIM can solve and Surveillint is the right fit for enterprise organizations that need to keep their people, assets and organizations safe, whether that’s for one or several locations,” said Jack Smith, chief executive officer of Proximex. “Alex has proven that he has the talent and strategic experience to identify and deliver to the unique needs of vertical markets and specific accounts. We are extremely pleased that Alex has joined our team.”
Mr. Osinski has extensive experience in domestic and international markets. He has initially sold and developed numerous global accounts as well as managed federal sales programs for several companies. As national account manager at TRW/Northrop Grumman, Mr. Osinski consistently increased sales in large DoD and DoE contracts, with his final year culminating in nearly 350% growth. While holding the position of western regional manager at CREDANT Technologies, he landed a large account with Kaiser Health Foundation, among many others, to provide device access control and encryption for mobile devices from laptops to handhelds. Mr. Osinski’s sales experience spans many vertical markets, such as telecommunications, defense & government agencies, education, healthcare and financial services. Other companies he has represented include Prime Computer, Stellar, Sun Microsystems & Network Appliance, Signiant and his own London, UK-based enterprise software reseller.
“Proximex delivers a unique value proposition to the enterprise market with Surveillint and this reflects the strength of its engineering team to be able to deliver so many important and necessary capabilities to the customer,” said Mr. Osinski. “During my due diligence phase, I could immediately identify with the security management problems that Surveillint and PSIM solve across multiple industries. I intend to leverage my 25 years of domestic and international clients and channel partner contacts to position Surveillint into major accounts and vertical markets. Our keys to success will be to develop strong partner relationships and build a world-class channel support team.”
