SYS-CON Events today announced that Oracle's Ashish Mohindroo (pictured) will deliver the Opening Keynote at the 7th International AJAX World Conference & Expo (ajaxworld.com), being held June 22-23 in New York City.
In his session, "Breaking the Collaboration Barrier with Rich Enterprise Applications," Mohindroo - who launched and continues to lead the global Go-To-Market Initiatives for Oracle's SOA, Complex Event Processing (CEP), Business Process Management (BPM), Master Data Management (MDM), and Developer Tools product offerings and is a major driver behind Oracle's recognized leadership in SOA - will speak about REA and collaboration including Oracle's vision on how you can rapidly create collaboration tools, mashup existing applications, inject Portal capabilities into plain web apps, and build scalable Enterprise 2.0-style applications that render rich user experiences using AJAX, Java Server Faces, and Flash.

"Rich Enterprise Applications (REAs) promise breakthrough capabilities and services for achieving higher levels of personal and team productivity throughout your enterprise," notes Mohindroo. "Consumer web and mobile technologies are setting high standards for what end users expect from enterprise applications, increasing the gap between complexity of technology and the time in which IT has to deliver," he adds.
These trends are redefining the role of the enterprise developer and increasing the pressure to provide enterprise application users with next-generation collaboration tools, Mohindroo says, while ensuring integration of those capabilities into existing enterprise infrastructure.
About the Keynote Speaker: Ashish Mohindroo is senior director of Product Marketing, at Oracle. He manages a team that is responsible for product strategy and global marketing for Oracle Fusion Middleware and Service-Oriented Architecture products and solutions. Under Mohindroo’s leadership, Oracle’s SOA products are the fastest growing components of Oracle Fusion Middleware. He regularly keynotes industry conferences, is interviewed by publications worldwide, and briefs industry analysts for Oracle.

7th International AJAX World Conference & Expo
The big winners in the world of online commerce are those that make the quality of the user experience (UX) the centerpiece of their overall online strategy.
In the current economic climate IT managers are under continuous pressure to justify spending time and money on user experience research and design. What does that mean to developers, architects, business users, and value?
At the 7th International AJAXWorld RIA Conference & Expo in New York City this June, the Conference Theme is "Driving Profitability Through the User Experience" - there will be keynotes, General Sessions, breakout sessions, and industry panels that explore and explain how simple, rich interfaces that don’t get in the way of the user's experience but enhance it are increasingly becoming tied to value creation, profitability and staying-power in the marketplace.
IT professionals of every stripe will come away with an enhanced understanding of what it takes to effectively evaluate, design and build on-line experiences that are compelling, usable, and profitable. Our organizing principle is that attending delegates should leave the Conference with abundant resources, ideas and examples they can apply immediately to leveraging the technologies they see on display and hear under discussion.
The speaker lineup is as usual dripping with real-world expertise. In addition to Oracle's Ashish Mohindroo, whose Opening Keynote is on "Breaking the Collaboration Barrier with Rich Enterprise Applications," there will be two intense days of breakout sessions across three parallel tracks.
